In Jolly Toddlers classes (from 15 months) we always begin with a hello song to welcome everyone to the session, developing their social and communication skills. Each half term we sing a range of traditional and original songs through a theme such as 'colours', 'transport', 'light' and 'toys'. We also blend in key musical concepts to the classes such as loud and soft. A range of props, movement, actions, instruments are used to stimulate and engage the children whilst having lots of fun, making friends and learning through play. The learning is built on each week, repeating the songs already learnt to enable them to fully emerge themselves in the learning and becoming confident with sharing their skills at home as well as in class. Each week ends with a listening time, percussion and fun goodbye song.
